The palace in Gödöllő was the dearest refuge of Empress Elisabeth — Sisi. This year's light garden tells the whole story of the building, from the baroque era through the royal years to the present day.

Family ticket 2+2: 2 adults + 2 children or 1 adult + 3 children. Family ticket 2+3: 2 adults + 3 children. A child means a visitor aged 3–14. Children aged 2 and under and prams enter free; dogs according to the venue rules.

A season pass = entry all season, once a day at most (weekdays and weekends).
It is sold online only and is issued in the holder's first name and surname, which we check at the entrance — so it cannot be passed on to anyone else. The 1+1 pass is issued in the adult holder's name and, on each visit, admits the holder and one child aged 3–14 — it does not have to be the same child every time. It is valid for this park only.
Prices are final and include all fees.

• Tickets bought online are cheaper.
• Tickets are also available on site, and a combined ticket with the museum can be purchased.

• The ticket is valid for a single entry.
• The length of the visit is not limited within the opening hours.

Accessibility

The grounds of the Royal Palace of Gödöllő are fully accessible; a step-free ramp leads from the car park in front of the palace.

Getting here

From Budapest by HÉV suburban train from Örs vezér tere to the Gödöllő–Szabadság tér stop; by Volán buses from Stadion bus station; or by train from Keleti station (Hatvan–Füzesabony–Miskolc line).

Dogs

No — dogs are not allowed, to protect the local wildlife. Guide and assistance dogs are the exception: they are always admitted, free of charge and without a muzzle.

Parking

On both sides of the palace, paid every day of the week — 440 HUF per hour. The machine accepts Hungarian coins only; you can also pay by card or via SMS. Visitors with reduced mobility park free of charge in designated spaces.
